01Read in full, not skimmed
Nothing here is built by skimming for the part that fits. If a point is not solidly supported, the lesson does not make it.
That is why a lesson sometimes stops earlier than a textbook would. Lesson 1 on the charters ends at Plassey, because that is as far as it can go without overreaching. The next lesson continues with the Regulating Act and later changes to Company rule.
02Every claim is checked, not advertised
Nothing is written until it is checked, line by line, before it is published. What you can verify is the claim itself: a date, an article number, a quoted line, against any standard reference you already use.
03Nothing is reproduced
The lesson is written in its own words, and rewritten wherever a passage sits too close to someone else's phrasing. Quotation marks are used sparingly, only for a short phrase, and only where the words genuinely need to be exact.
04Questions are built from real mistakes
Every wrong option in a Decide block is a position someone actually holds: a textbook shorthand, a date read backwards, a later provision projected onto an earlier Act. The answer explanation says why the right answer is right and why each wrong one tempts. Option lengths are balanced and the correct letter is spread across items, so nothing can be guessed from shape.
Past questions retain their exam wording, with statements and options set out separately. Each answer has an explanation. If a question tests a provision outside the lesson, the explanation makes that clear.
05Two passes before anything goes live
After a lesson is drafted, it is read again by a separate reviewer whose only brief is to find what is wrong: an unsupported claim, a phrase that reads too close to someone else's words, an answer key that can be argued, a sentence that reads like a slogan. Each finding is either fixed or rejected with a stated reason. The record of that pass is kept.
06What is charged for
Lessons are free to start. Anything charged later covers the expertise and the computing that built it, and stays at a few hundred rupees. Live classes, mentoring and test-checking are a different service and are found through UPSC Bazaar, where you post what you want and choose among the quotes.
